ABSTRACT

Global challenges such as climate change and environmental degradation has contributed a great deal of havoc to the society, hence the need to address the issue gave the motivation for this work. Nigeria is blessed with vast amount of natural resources ranging from food to agricultural waste then microorganisms, all has role to play in encouraging sustainability of the environment. This paper provides a concept for biobased economy in the country, how it can be harnessed and sustained via agriculture.
